How can I tell you
How can I let you know
To you I seem happy on the beach
But do you know why?
Because you drove me there

Come on,
Get out of the car
Lay in the sand
Lie down and dream

Feel the warmth of the sun
Feel the sand between your toes.

Leave the umbrella behind,
You have something to show.

You’re the one who keeps the beach together
You found it and let others in.
That’s kind,
It’s you,
It’s who you are.

You keep the beach clean when no one is there,
You’ve made it a paradise, but when will you ride the waves?

The beach seems perfect,
Something’s missing,
No,
Someone.

I’ll break the windows with my blood,
I’ll throw you on my back
You deserve what you helped make.

If I die getting you to the shore I’ll die happy,
But if I get you in the water I can rest in peace.

I’ve had my turn on the beach,
Now it’s yours.
I only ask that when I die I could be buried in the sand.

Let the wind carry these words, for they will be my last:
Thank you for the time spent in the sand.

A poem inspired by someone who really does deserve to bask in what she's created and deserves to have her friends be her family and her family to be strangers.

Life is but a box of chocolates, you never know which one you'll get.

Umm...I think I prefer the latter half to the first half. But anyway, it's nice poem :D
