He jumps in to vanquish the dragon,
Jumps out victorious and runs off again.

Your brother screams with the last of his life for the stranger to stop.

A swift stop,
A sudden turn,
And an instant radiance.

The stranger greets the young one and sees he is unprepared,
Stretched hands pour down upon him,
From this one there is many.

The two reside now in the strangers kingdom as the young one still grows,
Each day growing,
Scales,
Wings,
And a tail,
Eventually becoming what he once feared,
Only this time avoiding the need to kill,
Protecting those he loves and ones who are like he once was.

Years have passed, but a war is now starting.

The other is you.

Your little brother, in the mists of battle, remembers the starry hill where you once shared countless nights together as dreams mingled in sweet memories as the stars shown down upon the two of you both.
